The German AIDS-Hilfe eV (DAH), the Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH and the AIDS Foundation East-West (AFEW) cordially invite you to the event: ’On the way to Vienna – Risk reduction in drug use in East and West’.

Salon Wilhelmstrasse will host a discussion on harm reduction practices in Europe and Central Asia. Panel members are:

Location: Berlin

On 15 and 16 July, people working in HIV-related fields in Central Asia will be welcomed to Berlin for a study visit to several harm reduction sites. The aims of this visit include:

• Introducing people inolved in Central Asia’ s HIV response to 20 years of successful harm reduction approaches in Germany
• Inform their German counterparts of progressive and innovative approaches being piloted in Central Asia and internationally
• Promoting the necessity and benefits of international exchange to German organisations involved in harm reduction

Location: Berlin

International Remembrance Day (21 July) is an official day to remember those who have died as a result of illicit drugs, tobacco and/or alcohol. It has been developed by the drug using community and is now held openly in many cities and countries around the world including Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Sweden and the UK.
