Yesterday, the Vienna Express buses that have been travelling the Tajik capital of Dushanbe over the last few days came to their final stop in the city’s most popular locations – the central park that is located near the Dushanbe Opera House. Here, volunteers set up stalls from which they handed out leaflets on HIV and related issues and souvenirs, as well as discussing the Vienna Express, HIV and drug use with passers-by. Enormous banners carrying the slogan ‘Speak Up and Be Heard!’ were displayed around the park and called on visitors to send their message to the AIDS2010 conference in Vienna (add your message as well)!
