Photo exhibition “Life Triumphs!”

Objective: to attract attention of general public and media to the topic of HIV/AIDS  and motivate them to participate in the response to the HIV epidemic.

The campaign against HIV/AIDS has continued for so many years and it takes a lot of courage and stamina to keep up the fight through many years. Sometimes activists lose heart and faith in the success of their efforts. We can begin to forget what we fight for – for life! And life must triumph in this fight. Lifein all its variety, life in its sparkling optimism and its chain of unforgettable moments…. We decided to remind everyone right now!

This exhibition is about dreams, about happiness, about optimism and the ability to value life. There are men, women, students, social workers and journalists, people with positive and negative HIV status, Ukrainians and representatives of other nationalities, people of different ages and religions, people of different characters and different fates among the participants of exhibition.

But each life is a vessel full of wonderful moments, which are worth celebrating in photographs and keeping ahead of us at all times!

The exhibition in Ukraine will be organized in three Ukrainian cities, where AFEW –Ukraine is running projects on HIV prevention among vulnerable groups.

The partners in each city are – ‘Return to Life’ in Kirovograd, ‘Blago’ in Kharkiv and ‘Public Health Foundation’ in Poltava.
